Well I don’t know where to begin.  I guess I can start with the title of this blog ‘Optimus Wookie’.  This name comes from my Xbox Live account name.  Anyone that plays on Xbox live knows that if you recently tried to get an account every damn name you can think of is taken.  For the longest time I have gone by the name Littlewookie on forums and such, I don’t recall the exact way Littlewookie came about but it was a joke between a good friend and myself.  It stuck.

I am your average person I guess you can say.  I enjoy various things from video games, programming, photography etc.  I have a wife, 6 year old daughter and one on the way.  I am employed currently by a medical software company in charge of the development team and product (i have some long title that takes for ever to write Vice President of Product Management see what i mean).

Outside of the day to day job I love to learn new technologies.  I am starting this blog so I can share some things that i discover along the way.  I plan on concentrating really on php, asp and silverlight programming on here.  However I am currently on a linux based host so i need to figure out the whole asp and silverlight thing.  If anyone has suggestions you can contact me at norm (~@~) optimuswookie.com
